Mu has his over 25 years of deep experiences in our oil industry. After he began his career as a crude market analyst and then refineries operations planner for former JXTG in Tokyo, he went through analyst, physical LPG and oil derivative paper trader, originator, broker and book-leader roles at an oil major(ExxonMobil USA/Singapore), a brokerage house(Ginga Petroleum Singapore), an investment bank(Deustche Bank Singapore) and trading houses(Koch London/Singapore and Socar Singapore), before he founded his own company Sotai Energy Solutions PTE. LTD. in January 2019. Mu has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from Kyoto University, Japan.

The term Sotai comes from a Japanese word "Sotai" or ”相対”, which means "relative" in English. We always aim to look at each product value on various "relative" basis.

Mu is based in Singapore for 16 years with his family and enjoying fishing/yoga, as well as his jobs.
